James Dell Talarico is a Democratic member of the Texas House of Representatives, serving since 2018 (District 52 until 2023; District 50 thereafter). He is a former public school teacher and has worked in education-focused nonprofit leadership. Talarico earned a B.A. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.Ed. in Education Policy from Harvard, and an M.Div. from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
