Warren Kenneth Paxton Jr. is an American lawyer and Republican politician who has served as the 51st Attorney General of Texas since January 2015. He previously served in the Texas State Senate and the Texas House of Representatives. He earned a B.A. in psychology and an M.B.A. from Baylor University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. He is married to Angela Paxton, a Texas state senator, and they have four children.
