Gina Hinojosa

Regina Inez Hinojosa is an American attorney and Democratic politician from the Rio Grande Valley who has represented Texas House District 49 (central Austin) since 2017. She previously served on the Austin Independent School District Board of Trustees and has worked as a civil rights and labor lawyer. In October 2025 she announced her candidacy for Governor of Texas in the 2026 election.
