Elizabeth Ann Van Duyne is a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Texas’s 24th Congressional District, first elected in 2020 and serving since January 3, 2021. She previously served on the Irving City Council (2004–2010) and as Mayor of Irving, Texas (2011–2017). She was Regional Administrator for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in the Southwest Region from 2017 to 2019. She earned a B.A. from Cornell University in 1995.
